2025 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS

This year’s Club Championships attracted record entries, with players competing across seven events: 

• Men’s and Ladies’ Singles. (Men’s Plate competition for first-round losers)

• Men’s and Ladies’ Doubles

• Mixed Doubles

• Over 50s Mixed Doubles 

The tournament ran throughout the summer and featured a strong standard of play, excellent sportsmanship, and growing engagement across all sections of the club.

Female participation continued to rise sharply, with double the number of female entries compared with 2024, reflecting the growing strength of the ladies’ game at Rothley. Male entries remained consistently high across all events, ensuring lively competition from start to finish.
